Singapore – The Jobstreet.com Singapore Slingers today released their 2014 Air Asia ABL Home Game schedule. Singapore’s first and only Professional Basketball Team will play all their 2014 AirAsia ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) home games at their new home, the newly-built 3,000-seat OCBC Arena at the Singapore SportsHub.

The 2014 AirAsia ABL will feature six teams from Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indoensia and Singapore. The Jobstreet.com Singapore Slingers will embark on their 5th ABL campaign with the excitement of the new season and the buzz around the opening of the new SportsHub venue.

It is great to finally have a schedule so we can start preparing for the 2014 season in earnest,” said Coach Neo Beng Siang. He added: “We are still sorting out our roster as we again have to work around players who have National Service & University commitments.

The Slingers have already secured local players Wong Wei Long, Desmond Oh, Russel Low, and Delvin Goh for the 2014 season but still have 4 local roster position to finalise.

The Slingers will tip-off their 2014 campaign at the OCBC Arena at 4:00pm on Sunday 20th July against new Indonesian team Laskar Dreya.
