The top two teams in the ABL standings clash at OCBC Arena this Sunday at 4:00pm.
The Singapore Slingers will do battle with their cross border rival Malaysia Dragons this Sunday in Singapore, the two teams are in a fight along with Hitech Bangkok City for the #1 seed for the upcoming ABL play-offs.
The Slingers (14-3) bounced back from their first loss in 11 games with a convincing 97-69 win in Bangkok against the Mono Vampires while the Malaysia Dragons (13-4) easily accounted for Hitech Bangkok City who were playing without their MVP Chris Charles.
With only 3 games left in the 2015-16 ABL regular season, this top of the table matchup should be one of the games of the season.
Malaysia features 3 of the top 5 scores in the league, American’s Reginald Johnson & Calvin Godfrey and Filipino American Matthew Wright, while the Dragons second Filipino American import Jason Brickman leads the league in assists.
The Slingers will be relying on their league leading team defense to try and contain the high scoring Dragons outfit.
