Singapore – The Jobstreet.com Singapore Slingers announced today the signing of Dior Lowhorn, a 195cm forward, to fill up their World Import vacancy.
Lowhorn saw action in the ASEAN Basketball League last season when he suited up for the Saigon Heat. He recently had stints in the Philippines playing for crowd favorite Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, where he averaged 30.91 points and 11.36 rebounds per game, and GlobalPort Batang Pier, where he averaged 28.8 points and 11 rebounds per game.
Dior played college basketball at the University of San Francisco where he averaged 16.4ppg & 6.4rpg in his senior year.
The addition of Lowhorn on the Slingers’ frontline currently manned by Kyle Jeffers and emerging local talents Russel Low and Delvin Goh gives Coach Neo Beng Siang the flexibility on the roster he needs. Lowhorn can play either Forward and Center positions on the floor.
Lowhorn is expected to arrive in Singapore at 12:20am on Friday morning.
Fans will get their first chance to see Dior Lowhorn at home against the Indonesia Warriors this Friday night at the OCBC Arena. Game is set to tip off this Friday at 8:00PM.
