Singapore 7th January 2016:
The Singapore Slingers will be aiming to extend a club record winning streak to 7 staright games when they face the Pilipinas MX3 Kings at the OCBC Arena this Sunday 10th January.
The Pilipinas Kings is a new expansion team in the ABL this season and they are stilling working to find their feet in the league. Currently struggling at the bottom of the ABL competition the Kings have added veteran ABL rebounding leader and Slingers tormentor Nakiea Miller, Miller has often been a thorn in the side of the Slingers, playing some of his best games in the ABL in Singapore. Miller joins former PBA MVP Arizone Reid to strengthen a lineup that includes former PBA veteran Willie Miller and former Beermen and Barako Bulls Filam shooter Jason Deutchman making the Kings a formidable and dangerous opponent for the Slingers on Sunday.
If history is any indications the Kings will also enjoy the support of many of their countrymen who are working and living in Singapore on Sunday and the Slingers are hoping their fans will also turn out in good numbers to support the local team.
