The Singapore Slingers have gone from the brink of elimination to one win away from their first ABL Championship Series. The Slingers who lost to the defending ABL Champions Hitech Bangkok City in Singapore last Sunday 73-70 bounce back in a big way running out 95-66 winners on the defending champions home court in Bangkok.

The Slingers led from start to finish, leading at one stage by 29 points. The Slingers win sets up a Game 3 decider back in Singapore on Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm at the OCBc Arena in Singapore. At stake is a place in the 2015-16 ABL Championship Series.

The Slingers who played without ASEAN import Kris Rosales received a huge boost from their local players as they have all year.

Singaporean Wong Wei Long led all scorers with 29 points, Wu Qingde finished with 15 points while Slingers power forward Delvin Goh had his best game of the season finishing with 12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 blocked shot. Delvin also did a great job restricting Hitech and ABL MVP Chris Charles to just 13 points & 12 rebounds.

Slingers import Justin Howard finished with a monster effort, 20 points and 23 rebounds.
