The Singapore Slingers came away from the opening two games of the 2015-16 Best of 5 ABL Finals Series with a 1-1 record against the Malaysia Dragons.
The series now switches to the OCBC Arena in Singapore for Games 3 on Friday 18th March and Game 4 on Sunday 20th March.
After winning the opening game of the series away from home against the ABL #1 seeded Dragons 84-80 the Slingers went into Game 2 hooping to return home with 2 wins under their belt. But Game 2 didn’t go to plan for the visitors. The Dragons were physical from the outset and the Slingers failed to match the home teams intensity.
The Slingers struggled at both ends of the court but made several runs to keep themselves within striking distance until the middle of the 4th quarter.
The Slingers will now host Games 3 and 4 with the goal of winning both home games and taking the title.
