The ASEAN Basketball League has released the list of the 40 remaining nominees for the Top 10 ABL Players of All-Time.
Nine current and former Singapore Slingers have made it on the list.
Xavier Alexander, the current Import MVP, headlines the nominees along with 9-year veteran Desmond Oh.
Alexander has been with the Slingers for the past 4 seasons and has since broken multiple league records such as Most Career Points, Most Steals, and Most Career Triple-Doubles.
Meanwhile, Desmond Oh has been playing in the ABL since its inaugural season. Oh has played a total of 163 games for the Singapore Slingers.
Reigning Defensive Player of the Year John Fields also made it to the list after having a strong run with the team last season,
Other former Singapore Slingers players who are nominated are Leo Avenido, Chris Charles, Justin Howard, Josh Urbiztondo, Al Vergara, and Wong Wei Long.
According to the league’s announcement, the list will be further narrowed down to 20 nominees before allowing the fans to vote through the ABL website.
