After barely 24 hours of rest, the Singapore Slingers are gearing up for another road game as they face the Formosa Dreamers at the Changhua Stadium and a familiar face expected to try and make a statement against his former team.

Jerran Young played for the Slingers last season but he was since picked up by the Dreamers. He has been a steady contributor to their cause as he plays with boundless energy on both ends of the floor. Young has solid all-around numbers of 17.9 points, 13.4 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game but it is his presence on defense that has truly made him a great fit for Formosa.

Aside from Young, the Dreamers also have another triple-double threat in 2017-18 World Import MVP Anthony Tucker who norms 19.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game. He is also the man in charge when push comes to shove late in the fourth quarter.

Formosa also boasts of a serviceable big man in Jordan Tolbert who came in to replace Liam McMorrow. Tolbert has had his ups and downs but he’s found a way to still average 12.7 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.

One of the keys for Singapore now is to try and limit their turnovers are their carelessness really hurt their chances in their last game against the Taipei Fubon Braves. Primary ball handlers Marcus Elliott and Xavier Alexander had a combined 13 turnovers in the last game and that simply could not happen again.
