The Cobras are coming off a victory against the Chang Thailand Slammers, 83-78. This is a vital game for the Slingers and the Cobras, as they both hold a 6-9 win loss record and are chasing a playoff spot. The JobStreet.com Singapore Slingers and Bangkok Cobras have split their previous matches, the Slingers taking the win over the Cobras in Singapore 73-48, while the Cobras getting the victory in Bangkok 79-74.
The Bangkok Cobras are led by their Filipino Imports Marvin Cruz and Jai Reyes, who are scoring a combined 30.8 points per game. The Cobras are also coached by former NBA player Joe ‘Jellybean’ Bryant. Jellybean is the father of Los Angeles Lakers Superstar Kobe Bryant. Not to be outdone, the Slingers have their own Singaporean Sensation Duo in Desmond Oh and Wong Wei Long, who are both averaging career-highs in scoring.
