The tenth season of the ASEAN Basketball League is set to begin on November 16 with the Fubon Braves taking on the Macau Black Bears.

For the Singapore Slingers, the season begins on December 15 against the re-tooled Alab Pilipinas which gives the Slingers more time to practice and work on their team chemistry for the season. This game also counts as Marcus Elliott’s first game with his new team.

The schedule adjustment was made due in large part to the SEA Games basketball tournament which will happen from December 4 to December 10.

Just a week later, three All-Time Ten honorees will clash as Xavier Alexander and Marcus Elliott will face the returning Steven Thomas and the Macau Wolf Warriors at the OCBC Arena on December 22 for the Slingers’ first home game.

Another date that Slingers fans should bookmark as soon as possible is January 31, 2020 as Marcus Elliott and the Slingers travel to Hong Kong to face his old team in what should be a hotly contested affair.

Switch up your Valentine’s plans and come spend it with the Slingers as they face regional rivals and 2016 finals opponent, Westports Malaysia Dragons, who have brought in Will Artino, on February 14, 2020.

To close out the season, the Slingers will face Freddie Lish and Mono Vampire at the OCBC Arena on March 29, 2020.

Other key dates:
@ Fubon Braves – January 4, 2020 (first time to face the new team)

vs. Saigon Heat – January 8, 2020 (All-Time Ten clash of Alexander and Elliott against Chris Charles)

vs. Alab Pilipinas – March 8, 2020 (Tenth Home Game)
