Francis Espeleta

A full time engineer, Francis Espeleta has been a contributor to the Singapore Slingers’ organization through  his photography and has been the team’s official photographer since the start of the Singapore Challenge Series which began in 2008.

Since the inception of the Slingers in 2006, Francis has been an avid supporter watching all the home games at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Francis developed an interest in photography in 2004 using an Olympus SLR camera.  Whilst shooting the Waterfest Festival in 2004 Francis developed his love for sports photography.  This encouraged his progression to a DSLR camera, propelling his desire to increase his ability and establishing himself as an excellent sports photographer.

Francis’ range of photography extends to weddings, events, portraiture and some culinary photography but Francis’ main focus is on sports, most particularly basketball with the Singapore Slingers, as this has also been his favorite sport since childhood.
